Apple cider vinegar kills the bacteria responsible for causing acne andhelps balance our natural PH level, the measure of acidity in our skin. When used topically, it also acts to absorb excess oil which clogs the pores causing inflammation.

To use this treatment topically, dilute 1 part apple cider vinegar with 3 or 4 parts water. Using a clean cotton ball or clean piece of cotton, dab the solution onto the affected area and leave on for about 10 minutes then rinse off. This should be repeated 3 times a day until the acne clears. For more severe cases you may either leave this ratio solution on overnight and rinse off in the morning, or reduce the ratio of water to vinegar by 2 to 3 parts, but this stronger solution should not be left on overnight. It has also been used by some in a less diluted solution and even full strength, but it is best to start out with the most diluted form first, testing your skin sensitivity at each level and working your way up in strength gradually. A tingling sensation may be normal for this treatment, but if a burning sensation occurs, rinse it off immediately and use a more diluted strength or try using it as a tonic drink. As you use this apple cider vinegar for acne treatment, remember to continue on with your proper washing and cleansing routine in between for maximum benefit. It may also be beneficial to moisturize your skin after as this topical method does tend to dry the skin out.

I take two tablespoons a day (in Stash’s double spice chai tea- really good) and it really seems to help. No new breakouts. Just the fading red marks from the old ones. Hey i have this dark marks all over my legs and when they start to appear they make a redish pimples and wen they heal they left those horrible dark sports and i cant even wear skirts i always hide under long pants and leggins and they said its blood blockage so pls can ACV help me nd how wil i use it pls m 27 yrs
