Biomimicry

This will be a richly rewarding experience – an opportunity to

entangle with nature and a great presenter:

Hi Joburg Biomimics,

The second meeting of the JOBURG Biomimicry Network is open to anyone who interested in Biomimicry. Please invite your friends and colleagues. We aim to have monthly Biomimicry Network meetings – an opportunity to connect with other biomimics, keep up to date with what’s happening and learn more about biomimicry.
The October meeting for JOBURG will be at:
The Johannesburg Zoo (Anglo Centre)
Date: 20th October 2010
Time: 17.30-19.00
Cost: R50pp (students half price)
Thanks to Lorna Fuller for organising to host this at the Joburg Zoo.

PRESENTATION: 6-6.45pm. Short intro by Claire Janisch, followed by Lorna Fuller & Nadia Hansa – inspiring educators from the Joburg Zoo will be giving a 30min interactive presentation to expand our biomimicry knowledge of the zoo creatures. Their presentation is titled: “Using the Zoo as a Biomimicry Classroom”
The meeting will be a time to learn more, catch up with each other, to find out plans for Biomimicry South Africa and to plan future Joburg Biomimicry Network events.
A cash bar will be provided. Light snacks will be served.
We look forward to seeing you there.
To attend the event, please RSVP to Claire by 15 October: claire@biomimicry.net
Thanks,
Claire
